Katie & Adam’s Intimate London Gallery Wedding
Katie and Adam’s wedding was the perfect reminder that the most meaningful wedding days are often the most intimate — full of emotion, connection, and the people who matter most.
Set against the elegant backdrop of Orleans House Gallery, their day blended London heritage architecture with a relaxed, close-knit atmosphere. Nestled in Richmond, the gallery is known for its beautiful historic interiors and light-filled event spaces, including the striking Octagon Room, making it a unique setting for wedding ceremonies and celebrations.
Despite a rainy forecast, the day felt warm, joyful, and incredibly romantic — the kind of soft, atmospheric weather that gives wedding photography such a timeless, editorial feel.
After their ceremony, guests gathered at Orleans House for drinks, laughter, and hugs — the kind of slow, meaningful moments that really define a wedding day. Katie and Adam chose to keep everything intentionally small and personal, which made every interaction feel special and heartfelt.
One of the highlights of the day was when everyone boarded a classic Routemaster bus together, travelling to The Hideaway for the reception. The Hideaway, set along the river, had a relaxed atmosphere, making it a lovely spot for food, drinks, and celebrations that flowed naturally into the evening.
As evening arrived, the energy shifted into pure celebration. Rain outside, warmth and laughter inside, and lots and lots of dancing. It was fun, effortless, and completely true to Katie and Adam — a wedding that felt less like an event and more like a gathering of everyone they love most.
