Greek Elegance Meets London Style: Rosheen & Michael’s Winter Wedding
Rosheen and Michael’s December wedding was the perfect blend of rich cultural tradition, London elegance, and high-energy celebration. With meaningful Greek elements woven throughout the day, their wedding felt deeply personal, stylish, and full of life from start to finish.
Their ceremony took place at the Greek Orthodox Church in London, where centuries-old traditions and symbolism created a truly powerful and emotional atmosphere. The ceremony was full of Greek traditions including the crowning with stefana.
After the ceremony, we stepped out into London for couples portraits along the city streets. There’s something about London in winter — the muted tones, the movement of the city, the contrast of classic architecture and modern styling — that creates such an editorial, fashion-led feel.
The celebrations continued at The Grand Junction, where the reception space felt warm, atmospheric, and ready for a proper party. Tables were styled with beautiful florals by @bud_flora, adding softness and texture against the winter setting and creating a romantic, elevated tablescape.
One of the most memorable moments of the evening was the traditional Greek money dance — a joyful, energetic celebration that brought everyone onto the dance floor. It perfectly set the tone for the rest of the night: nonstop dancing, incredible food, and that unmistakable feeling of a wedding where every guest is fully present and celebrating together.
December weddings always carry a special kind of magic, and Rosheen and Michael’s day was no exception — editorial, emotional, and incredibly fun in equal measure.
